Despite what you may read, there is no way to tell a het pied based on pictures. Only way to know for sure, is to know the parents that made it. The "het pied markers" show up in normal snake also, therefore making the talk about het pied markers useless. The only situation to even think about them is possible hets and it's still a shot in the dark.

Friend had a possible het with train tracks and she didn't proved out after two years of breeding, breed to a pied 9 eggs no pieds. So i still say its a shot in the dark. Hope he proves out for ya, I would still take the tracks over no tracks with possibles, seems to prove out more than it doesn't.
I would bet yes. I think many people now believe that hets do have differences from non hets. But I wouldn't go to Petsmart and buy something because it kinda looks lighter darker high white thinking it was a het. But it is useful to use in a clutch of possible hets.
