finally a litter!

So I final got one of my female to bust out a litter.

Anyone got advice for me now? Time line of things I can and can't do maybe

I breed rats, basically keep the mother well fed and make sure she has fresh water and she'll do the rest Rats don't care about taking the babies out. Haven't been bitten and they still feed them. Don't know if this is true for mice but they would at least still feed them.

So mommy mouse keeps building new hides and moveing babies. Is that a good thing?

It just means she might be a little nervous. I would just leave her be for a while.

my two females just both had litters two days apart. both have built their own nests and are doign well. I only go in the room to change water and check on food levels. I would wait a week or two before handling them or changing any thing in the tank. congrats hope it all goes well from here. sounds like its time to be looking into a new tank for the next future line!

Well one litter had ten and tge other had 12 .its interesting that tge litter of ten is larger than the litter of 12.

I don't know if its true or not, but the fewer babies the more they can eat. Congrats on the litters. Any chance we could get some pics?!

i had two females drop within a week and the original female is taking care of all of them. thankfully no one is falling behind and they are all getting bigger. one mom and 27 babies lol. i think the second mom is helping but i can never seem to catch her feeding and they are all in one big pile.

Ill try to get pics but now I was wondering can I put the moms and babies in one tub. Or next time I put the pregs together before they give birth. Which is better . Im asking because the two preggers are from diffrent breeding groups.
