What do you guys think of his color? A lot of pastels i've seen have a high yellow color. Will he brighten up? Maybe he was going into blue? Will he be a brown pastel? Or is this color normal for a pastel and the bright ones are the exception? I'm hoping that he's brighter in person. Yeison says he looks great, getting better with age and that i'll love him.
Honestly, I think if you are lucky he will stay that light, but he's probably going to get darker. Pastels don't get lighter as they grow. Most of those high yellow pastels you are seeing are babies. Only exceptional pastels are still yellow as they reach adult hood and those can be hard to find. My 1000g lemon pastel looked really yellow as a baby (at least according to the pictures I saw) and now her color is similar to his.

He has a cool pattern though and since he's also het albino you got a nice deal.

Oh okay thank you, I was hoping that was the case. Well he is over four months old and 335g now, this picture was taken about a little over a month ago so we will see if he still looks this good next week when I post new pictures and my unboxing video. Possible het albino, he doesn't know for sure. Anyone know how much an adult het albino female costs? I'll have to get a female het albino and prove him out in the next few months

Adults are going to cost you some money. Female 100% het hatchlings run about $150-200 so you're probably looking at $600-1000 for an adult. Personally I would just find a nice albino female and raise her up and try to proven him out with her.

Thank you, I think i'll do that. I was also going to buy an adult spider but since my ultimate goal beyond bumblebees are killerbees and i've heard adult female spiders can go for $1000 i'll just buy two female bumble bees, raise them up and try for killerbees. Until then i'll get some adult female normals, I see them all the time for $100-150 and I wouldn't mind producing pastels and normals until I can afford the albino and the bees

Adult female anythings will usually be around $700-1000...I've seen normals go for $150-200 at times though. But definitely any adult female morph you are going to have to shell out some cash for.

You don't need 2 bumble bees to make killerbees. Just one bee the oppisite sex as your new pastel. You can produce killers, bumble bees, super pastels, pastels, spiders, and normals. Only the morph gods will know your out come though.....

I know but I want two female bees because I can get them for the price I would have paid for an adult female spider and i'll have better odds of getting killerbees.
