Very true, Ive never been a huge A7X fan, but i can definitely respect the talent they brought to the rock industry, and the REV was an excellent musician . But like most musical talent, the loss of one great artist brought along a whole new chapter of excellent songs, so atleast one good thing came out of a very bad scenario.

I listen to a little bit of everything, though - my taste usually tends to stay in the Rock, Metal, and Grunge range. Lately though, I've been listening to a lot of Ra and Egypt Central. I think it's because I've been twitching to go to a concert.

    Re: whats your music???

Anything from Candyrat Records. Don Ross, Antoine Dufour, Craig D'Andrea, Ewan Dobson, Nicholas Barron etc. etc. I have also been listening to Umphrey's Mcgee, old Motown stuff and anything blues. I like good music from any genre, but I prefer it to have guitar.

I listen to underground hip hop. not that garbage top 100 crap they play in the club either..older stuff like the Roots, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Mood, Boot Camp Click, Gangstarr, A Tribe Called Quest...etc.

I grew up listening to metal, but got into hip hop when i wrote graffiti as a teenager (in the 90's) it was more of a cultural thing than anything. graffiti is considered an element of hip hop so they went hand in hand. even though i'm not an active graffiti writer anymore, the music still speaks to me.

a LOT of people don't like hip hop, and for good reason. 95% of it is crap. its that top 5% that makes me a hip hop head.
