    Re: feed and seed rant

Don't sweat the small stuff, as my Daddy used to always tell me. The world is full of people who are convinced they are right, no matter what the evidence might say. Sometimes they are. Sometimes they're not. Just go with what you think is best.

Our job is to give people a resource to help them learn. Our job is not to force them to see things out way. Takes a lot of pressure off our shoulders when we look at it that way.

There's tons of differing opinions on how to keep reptiles.

If you have confidence in a certain way, then you shoudl definitely go with it. I personally think this site has decades of experiance between the members and it's freely given.

She believes whatever she wants to believe, and as long as she sells you the prey item you want(ie rats) then nod and repeat "I'd prefer to feed rat pups, thank you." and let her think whatever she likes.

I'm unsure how she thinks mice are bigger anyway. You'll be moving the size of the rats up as your snake grows(keeping them the same size as the largest portion of your BP's body), while mice will soon be too small for a decent BP without feeding them multiple mice each feeding.

Shrug. To each their own, right?

Some folks think that selling you a $3 rat makes them an expert.

I smile and remain polite, just as I would if I were being informed of some absurdity by a well meaning but not overly bright kid. No good can come from arguing with folks who already know it all.

Owners tend to be ruder then most of the other people you'll meet. If you get a opinion from on here it is best to believe it. One thing I've noticed is a lot of users here will recommend F/T and to most shop openers that's a loss of profit. At least that is how I see it
