Re: all over the tank
Well, it has been 5 days, so you can. What size meal do you give your ball? I give my 10 month olds a mature mouse about every 5-7 days, unless they refuse. So the main question is, how large of a meal do they get? If there actively searching the enclosure I would feed again. Some BP's this time of year like to put on some weight before it gets to cold. (That's my person experience with them in IL)

It could be hunger, or stress, or just plain roaming. You can try offering another meal, but he may or may not actually take it.

I would play it by ear. Check and double check your husbandry. When a bp roams around during the day, or more usually than normal, it is usually a sign that there is stress. If husbandry is fine, then your snake may be hungry. In my opinion, it doesnt hurt to try again tonight. However, make sure you are feeding it an appropriate sized meal.. 10-15% of your snakes body weight or if you dont have a scale, it should be around the same thickness as the thickest part of your snake.

I'd say roaming at night is mostly hunger unless you see him out during the day too. If he had a small meal, he's most likely hungry. I feed my young ones under 400 grams every 5 days

well at the store i get my LIVE mice from, they are around house size mice if you dont know about what size tht is, im going to get a mouse later today, ill post pics, and a video of the feeding just for us herps at bp.net anyway it was night, i just switched hides form half logs to bowls with a hole cut in them due to day time roaming, that stopped automatically, but hes been at the top of his tank all night when i got up, he was still at the very top, i think ghe fell asleep tht way, but when i opened it, he caught his self nd slithered under his vine. he constantly stays under his vine, should i remove it? or leave it, back to the point, getting a "house sized mouse, if you dont know what size tht is, ill post a pic of it under this thread for you guys and gals . thanks for the support so far.

It depends on how big he is, mice don't usually keep them full very long.

Is it possible for you to weigh the food prey ? Having a digital food scale would solve some of your problems.
If you can only get ahold of mice, then in the future you may have to feed him 2 mice per feeding, or even 3.. All depends on the weight of your snake compared to the weight of its meal.
