Also, I always see shipping costing roughly 50$ even if it was a state away! I don't know whether that's really how much it costs or.... (That's how much Constrictors Unlimited shipping costs and they're reputable)

    Thanks,

    RJ
I believe that really is how much it costs, though I've never shipped myself. Some vendors add in the price of new packing/shipping materials as well.

Our first ball python was an adult female normal that we rescued. I really regret getting rid of her.

Yeah... $50 I definitely don't have. If I can't get a normal by x-mas or a week after then I have to wait until May! I really don't want to have to wait that long.

    Thanks,

His name is Jonathan - 786-973-3364

I bought a snake from him and he quoted me $20-25 but I lived in the same state as him. So I figured that's how much it is for within the same state. But shipping ended up being Free for me anyways because I did his auction. I got a Mojave female 198g for $220 plus free shipping. It was an amazing deal and I'm happy with her.

Yup, that is about what I've always paid, even for small boxes. Sometimes a little less, sometimes a little more. Even a large adult ball should be in this range. The only exceptions I would imagine would be if your box was exceptionally large/heavy (adult burms, retics, tegus, monitors, afrocks, rtb, coastal carpets, etc). If you think that is bad, you ought to look up what it costs to ship hots via Delta Dash.

It says the shipping is based on ZIP code. I am on the opposite side of the state. (top and bottom wise) It will probably end up costing me $50 or near there for shipping.

    Thanks,

    RJ

I don't know about that. Richard Cooper from Ohio was going to charge me $35 for overnight shipping for one of his cinnamons and I live in Tennessee. About nine-ten hours away.
