Anyone know of one?
Hello,
As I posted before I am going to be getting a BP around x-mas time! (Yay!) I am looking for a breeder that has quality BPs with a pretty good price. Know of any good breeders that have some good deals that ships?
Thanks,
RJ

Those sites are classified sites so you'll want to check out the individual breeder's reputation before you order anything from one. There are also TONS of breeders on this forum that ship. There's a FOR SALE forum on here that you could check out too.

Re: Anyone know of one?
Not to rain on your parade, but something to think about is this, you live in Pennsylvania and you are looking for something around Christmas. This poses two problems for shipping. 1) It's the highest volume of shipping of the whole year. 2) weather. So, if you do find a breeder that will ship in the middle of winter, there is a higher chance of the box getting lost, or damaged in all of the holiday packages. I would suggest, hurry up and order now, if you can find one, or look for some local breeders that you can pick the snake up from and avoid the shipping...

I would agree with looking for a snake sooner rather than later. Remember, this year's hatchlings are already several months old so breeder variety is lower.
I actually just got my first ball python a week and a half ago. I got her from BHB Enterprises
http://www.bhbreptiles.com/
They are in Michigan, and they ship all over the country. My girl arrived about 15 hours after she was shipped and the shipping cost was $50, which is a pretty good deal. Of course, shipping is stressful on a snake, but they calm down fairly quickly. Mine struck at me as soon as I pulled her out of the bag. I just put her in her new home and only checked on her once a few hours later and she got really defensive again. But since that first day, she has made no attempt to strike and has settled down nicely. I would recommend going with a breeder, unless your local pet shop has healthy, captive bred animals, which is rare.

Re: Anyone know of one?
Well does anyone know of any breeders in the Northeastern part of PA? I can't really drive that's why I was relying on the shipping. Unless I went to the local PetCo to see if it's one of the few that actually take care of their animals but I doubt it. I can't get one now because I don't have the tank and everything yet. The earliest I will be able to get it is a week before Christmas.
Thanks,
RJ

I'm in Greensburg Pa and there are a number of differant options available to you. I prefer Faunaclassifieds because of the BOI. Kingsnake.com is another good site, but I would still cross check any potential breeders through the BOI on Fauna. I have some things available and know a number of people in Western PA that are reputable breeders and could help you out. Your options are endless, but shipping the week before Christmas in PA is sketchy at best. Most breeders would refuse to ship under those circumstances and weather. Best of luck no matter what route you decide to take, and shoot me a pm if you wanna talk further.

Get to an expo, it's the best way.
Huge selections along with low prices. And the breeders are right there to haggle with in person. I never would have got my bee from the awesome breeder I got it from for below $400 unless I was there to talk him down.
