to people who have the tinted green sterilite tubs

I have heard that you can get those tinted green sterilite tubs at wal-mart around Christmas time I was wondering what you guys paid for them and what you thought of them compared to clear thanks

I've been finding them year round at the wal-mart here. It seems like they only carry them and Target only carries the clear ones. They cost the same though if I remember correctly, it's just a matter of which store I am closer to when I need to pick them up that determines which ones I get.

Honestly, to me they are the same. The green is still very see through, so if they are going to charge you more I wouldn't bother with them.

I use them for my breeder females, that way I feel better about them not having hides. What I did for my own personal preference was to cut a window in one end of the tub and fit it with plexiglas, so I have a clear view of what is going on in the tub without opening it.

+1 to Kinra's post. I have a green one I picked up when I couldn't find any clear ones. I don't notice any differences in behavior or feeding response. They're still pretty clear and allow about the same amount of light in...
