    Question Are Ultramels kinky?

I recently heard the Ultramels have kinky tails just like Caramels. Does anyone know if that's true?

I agree with Rich. Although I can not personally say I know this to be fact. Other breeders have told me they are getting away from Caramels and getting into Ultramels to stay away from the kinking issues. Incubation stress is typically the root cause to kinking.

Personally, I have a pair of het caramels I am breeding this year.

Good luck with your Caramels! I think Caramels & Ultras are some of the prettiest BP's. I'd love to have one or the other, as long as they didn't have any kinks. I wonder if the temp/humidity needs during incubation for Caramels are different from most BP's. It would be great if someone figured out the secret to producing no kink Caramels.

I'm breeding my het pair this year to. Hoping for no kinks, although I do like it if girls are a little.
