    Albino to Albino breeding

I was told that there are problems breeding albino to albino, with deformed babies. Is this credible?
My ultimate goal is an Albino Clown Pied.

I have not heard anything like this, but I'm interested to see the responses from those more experienced than me.

I haven't heard of this. I've seen several people that breed albino x albino and there were no kinks/deformation.

With ball pythons I have heard nothing of it, with boa's there are alot of genetic consequences with the albino gene..... I have seen baby boas born with missing a missing eye in a het x het breeding.

    Re: Albino to Albino breeding

    Hi,

I always wonder if this stems from Ralph's bad clutch when he was trying to make his granite albinos and confusion with the problem in boas.

As far as I know you really shouldn't have any problems in albino to albino breedings.

I've heard there are issues with Caramel Albinos (which is a completely different morph) but not actual Albinos...

Yeah, I was also going to guess you're thinking of CARAMEL Albinos - since they do have an issue with producing kinked babies. Far as I know, regular albino x albino hasn't been a problem thus far.

Yeah, I'll third the caramel albinos being kinked.
