Re: digital scale
I use one of the Reptile Basics scales for the snakes, and I have a digital food scale that I use for weighing prey items. I like the RBI scale because it has an optional AC adapter to plug it in. My food scale does not, so I occassionally have to replace the batteries, no big deal.

I got a Ultraship 75 digital scale and love it. It has gram,oz,Lbs,Kg and weights things up to 75lbs. You can use batteries but you can use a AC adapter too. Its about $40 something.
