Big Cheese Rodent Factory!
We found out they are just a few minutes from our house...decided to try them out...
REALLY great experience. They were all very friendly and fun and everything was extremely clean. The facility was cool, we arrived during cleaning. We were nervous about if a large scale rodent factory would have a scent--but when we got inside, you wouldn't know you were staring at racks of rodents. No smell. Actually, they had just been in the middle of cleaning and had a huge truck out dumping used bedding out into a dumpster, so outside was the only place we smelled any rodent really. That was good, put my mind at rest. They had a lot of fun reptile posters and business cards. Our rodents were PERFECTLY packaged and each was a uniform size and weight. They were frozen the morning of and we picked them up that afternoon. Nice and fresh! They look super healthy too. I will DEFINITELY do business with them again! I am excited about good rodents and no shipping!

Re: Big Cheese Rodent Factory!
I'd have to agree.
I had a sex specific order for all live females and they were great to deal with. I wasn't even sure they would bother with doing that. They returned all my calls when they said they would and were super nice folks.
All the rats were in very good condition. I bought 40 about 3 weeks ago and have not had a problem with a single one.
It was about a 70 mile drive for me but well worth it. I'll be going back for sure also.

Well the snakes sure liked their meals yesterday! It was exciting as it was a size up for Nagini and also Maru has gotten back onto his normal prey size after a short fast and then only accepting itty bitty meals!

My first order arrived today, I'm not handling it as well as I thought I would! Defrosted the first one, it has a huge gash across the belly, bit worried about my python squeezing mouse guts everywhere! I'm really really hoping it's to aid defrosting or similar and not the way they are killed! Can anyone reassure me?! Very nervous about this first feeding.

This sometimes happens with f/t.
Doesnt matter the company.
I believe it has to do with the freezing and defrosting process. The skin just gets so thin and gives way. These are messy and a hassle but if its not too broken up I will feed it regardless.
Just a thing that comes with f/t IMO.

Wow! I defrosted the ratling, then chickened out a bit and my hubbles stepped in, warmed it in water, and against my advice, just put it on a plastic lid and put it in the enclosure. She stuck her nose out, grabbed the tail and started nomming! Less than 5 minutes and she was readjusting her jaw with a bulgy belly! No zombie dance needed. She's been quite active in the last few days and evenings, she must have been hungry!
Thank you for the reassurance!
