Had to get another...
Added a second (larger) versi. Here's a couple shots I snapped before I put it in its enclosure. It's approximately 1.5"-2" so if I get good pictures of the next molt would someone be able to sex it for me? Also does it look like it recently molted or just really dull colors?

Very pretty, congrats!
I'd wait on a second opinion to be safe, but I'd put money on a girl. As for whether or not it was recently molted, it looks a little bit like it to me, but I don't have a lot of experience with avics...

Grats on the new addition! If you post up some good photos of the next molt, some of us may be able to let you know what the sex is.
It does look like it may have had a molt recently. Be gentle and let that exoskeleton harden up for the next week .

So if it molted recently...when should I expect another molt?

I'd wager for sure in about a month and a half, two months at most. It'll depend on what the room temperature is, and what/how much/how often you're feeding. They won't all grow at different rates, so it's tough to tell.

Congrats on getting a beautiful versi!!!!!!!!!! You would need a clearer and closer pic to get a better guess at the sex. But if I had no choice but to just guess right now I would guess male because the spot and close book lungs. But that is really just a straight up guess as the pic is not clear to get a good look.

So you could tell with just an underside picture? Doesn't need to be a molt? 'Cause a better underside picture would be VERY easy to get.

A molt is the only way to get 100% certain of sex. From looking underneath you can get a good idea (depending on size, type of tarantula etc) of what it is going to be.
