insulation!
Heat!!! Here in Massachusetts, the winters get cold, so I need a way to insulate my tanks, 20 long and 10. Don't know if It'll work, but I was thinking of wrapping the outside walls with some type of blanket-towel thing. Any suggestions on other ways of insulating would be highly appreciated!

The easiest type of insulation I have found is rigid foam insulation usually either blue or pink sheets that are 4x8 I like the one inch thick but you can often get a 1/2 inch that is designed as a spacer sheet that is usually quite cheap too. It is easy to cut with a sharp knife and can be sized to make a box and just folded around the tank.

Yup it is a standard construction material most hardware places and home improvement places will carry it. Get a box knife to cut it with. Be careful the blade often binds and the temptation to pull harder is quite strong. I found cutting it while one edge over hung a table helped some.
