    why ASF?

    im just wondering what the differences are betwen asf's and normal rats, are they more nutritional? do they have bigger clutches? what am i missing?

    You'll have to look into local breeders. I know in my area I have never seen them in the pet stores, but I posted something here and within 24 hours I was contacted by another local member who breeds them... Are you looking to start a breeding colony or are you just looking to buy what you need each week?

    I can't comment on pricing because I got a GREAT deal on my starter colony... Pricing is gonna depend on who you buy from honestly...

    Ah, then definitely look for local breeders. You may also have some luck posting a wanted ad in the pets section of your local Craigslist...
