Lol some people are a little too serious. Even if the owner decided to breed albino balls just for food, it's his choice. It's like us breeding rats for our snakes. Granted those albino's are worth more, but it's not animal cruelty. He's just feeding his snake food.

Now I would never do that, as I value my snakes and money too much. But food is food, whether it be a $1 meal or a $400 meal.

I don't really think you need to look at the substrate to figure out considering that Ophiophagus Hannah and P. Regius natural ranges don't overlap, and even if they did the likelihood of a albino surviving to the size in this picture only to be eaten by a King and someone happening to be there to capture it on film would have to be 100000000 to 1. would you be less offended if it was a rat snake she was eating? what if it was an albino rat snake? are you o.k. with feeding lop eared bunnies or are only meat rabbits o.k. in your books? I don't know for sure but I would guess that that Ball was already dead from some other causes before it was feed of. after all like stated before who in their right mind would pick a $400 animal as a feeder. would it have been better in your opinion to throw the already snake in the garbage than use it to feed another? i love albino Balls as much as the next guy, but every snake has got to eat.

I understand what you guys are sayin but this is the BP section(where most ppl love BPs).I feel bad for the albino(defects or whatever) but I understand everything has to eat.

I'm tryin to understand why post it in the bp lovers section instead of in the venomous animal section? or a different picture section?

When you know it's not goin to go over well.

Shocking words from Ball Python "lovers" to say the least.

But I read the story behind it. The Ball Python was a still birth per the story. Don't think it is accurate judging the sizes.

I've never fed live or purchased a live one for that matter, all of my snakes eat F/T.

They still die at some point, they don't exactly manufacture F/T

I couldn't agree more man. That picture was not even close to offensive. If it eats it naturally what does it matter if it eats what it naturally eats in captivity. As long as the animal is being properly fed there should be no complaints.
