humidity!
Hi again everyone! My hognose's tub humidity is getting quite high, lower 70's! I've been told by the breeder I got it from to remove the water bowl, and place it back in the tub only a few times a week. Does that sound right?

I am not a hognose guy but usually high humidity is a product of low ventilation. You might try adding more holes in the tub to increase the air flow before removing the water bowl.

Or you could try a smaller water bowl.
Evaporating water - ventilation = humidity
Fix either of those two issues on the left side of the equation as needed to adjust the right.
My hogs experience higher humidity during our summer months, and don't suffer for it, but it's a good thing to keep an eye on. Another thing you could try is using care fresh bedding. It might lower the humidity just a tad because it's so absorbent, and hoggies love to burrow in it.
