Provent-A-Mite Question
Hey Guys,
For those of you who use this product. I was wondering how long you all let that stuff dry for. I basically, sprayed the tub I wanted to treat and let it dry for about an hour. I had no bedding in this tub when treated...just the tub by itself. I don't have a tone of ventilation in these tubs because I like to keep the humidity up. Do you think it is safe to put the animal in? Will the lack of ventilation cause issues? It is a Pastel het Clown boy that will be proving 4 monstrous girls out for me this year and don't want to take any chaces at losing him. BTW, I have never used this stuff and the animal doesn't have any mites that I have noticed but came from somebody that has had mite problems with customers before. Had I know this before I bought him I might have considered twice. Too late now just have to take precaution I guess.
Thanks for the thoughts,
Mike ****inson

An hour of dry time is fine. Just make sure there were no water bowls in the tub when you sprayed it.

Re: Provent-A-Mite Question
Assuming your using some type of substrate, you want to treat the substrate not the actual tub. i use newspaper and usually let it dry for about an hour. i would say an hour is fine for letting it air out. if ur really worried you can run a fan over to make sure its completely aired out

Ive waited 2-3 mins as thats all it takes to dry since its not needed to be sprayed heavy.
As long as its dry, dont matter how long you wait.
