Feeding Question
I recently adopted a baby leo, I figure she is about 3 months. She is eating both mealworms and crickets. I leave a dish of mealworms in her tank at all times and at night I put in about 3-5 small crickets. When I first started feeding her she would eat them all up but now she will only eat like 1 or 2 a night. She seems to be gaining weight. I wonder if she just likes the mealworms more. Should I continue this way or put less mealworms in the dish?
From what I was reading feeding mealworms as a staple isn't that good is that true or is it ok that she prefers mealworms over crickets?
Thank you!

Mealies are fine, there is nothing wrong with feeding them as the primary food. Variety is better but if that is what she wants it is not a problem. As long as they are properly gut-loaded and always 'fresh' she will be fine. If you want her to eat more crickets try reducing the mealies, it may work.
Be sure to gather up any uneaten crickets, don't leave them in the tank over night...they can stress her by jumping about and, worse yet, nibble on her.

You can also try super worms, roaches, silk worms, and horn worms as well. Variety is always good.
