Do not do it. Balls should NEVER be housed together.

Other than for breeding, it's generally best to house snakes separately. This greatly simplifies feeding, cleaning, and record keeping. Also, if one snake gets sick, there is less chance that the other snake will get sick too. I'd recommend giving each snake their own enclosure.

Males and females should only be housed together for breeding and only for short periods. Males are sexually mature way before females and you run the risk of him breeding with her before she's really ready.
BPs are not social snakes so they don't enjoy each others company. Housing them together can be done but is never recommended. It's unlikely that they will eat each other but it can happen. In addition to this housing them together makes proper documentation impossible. Also if one gets sick, the other will as well. Honestly you will be 100% better off not housing them together.

Re: advice on housing 2 BP together
For those keepers who have very little herp keeping experience, it is not recommended to house two ball pythons together. You should always be prepared to house separately (ie, don't add another ball python if you can't afford two set-ups).

It is not easier cheaper or better. It can be done, but requires tons of experience and is best left to those whom have the needed experience to do so correctly. There is risks to both animals if everything is not spot on.
