Feeding

My ball was hatched June 22, 2011. He is probably 15 inches or so long and its time to try to feed him his first meal since I've had him. They guy had been feeding him rats but I can't find any around here and will have to order them...found one place but shipping is another 40 for fuzzy rats. Would it be okay to offer him a small hopper mouse this time?

I would think a Hopper wouldbe fine but I would deffinately get some rats as soon as you could. I am having a heck of a time getting my normal to switch to rats so I usually error on the side of rats. But if you cant ge them a mouse hopper should do the trick
