    mouse/rat equivalent

So, I've got a random unspecific question that's going to be tough to answer lol

Here's the deal, I've got 5 balls. (cue 13 y/o me laughter) They are all juvies, not too old, born around June I believe.

At my local petstore, the feeder sizes pretty much go pinky mouse, hopper mouse, regular mouse and large mouse. There may be something in between there, but the top two are Regular and then Large.

So, assuming you may have an idea of what these size mice may be...all five of my snakes have been pounding the regulars for a month and half or so of feedings.

So if you do have any clue what this "regular mouse" size is...do any of you know what size rat I should feed if i'm going to try to change them over? I'm assuming fuzzy rat or something, but i'd rather have an opinion from you guys.

This whole thing is very vague I know, as I don't have weights on my snakes or the mice i've been feeding them...but if any of you do have some advice, please share!!

    Thank you!!!

An adult mouse is 19-25g so I would go with rat pups to start.

Keep in mind different rodent breeders sizes vary. Best advice i can give is dump the mice and get em on rats a tad bigger then the mice your feeding. Rats will put the weight on and eliminate having to feed multiple meals at feeding time

Most rodent breeders will use weight ranges the easiest way it to weigh what you have, and go that weight the sizes vary quite a lot. I feed small rats but a small from my usual supplier is 60-110 gm the other supplier calls a small 50-95gm you see the problem.

Rat pups, they're usually 20-29 grams.
