newbie ball python owner first feed question/help

    Hello All,

i recently purchased my first snake (female baby spider ) on Sunday. i was advised to give her 4-5 days before attempting the first feed to give her time to acclimate to the new cage/housing. today would of course be the 5th day i have owned her. i have read to actually give them about a week.

should a wait another day or two? are there any signs i should be looking for that she is ready to eat and/or hungry?

any advise would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

if shes in her hide chillin out and not outside in the tub goin crazy then go for it. once they settle in and have a day or two to relax then u can feed. the recommended week is just so they have time to relax and not be so stressed out. i recently bought a cinny locally and he ate the next night cuz he settled right in the first night. good luck, let us know how it goes.
