Probably a genetic thing, I've seen it before. I'd say he'd make an awesome pet

He seems ok. Has a amazing pattern. Think it could of been incubator temps? They were almost always 87-89. Only one out of 14 eggs in 2 clutches.

Amazing! I have a preserved one eyed hatchling here. It died right out of the egg. Mine also has kinks, no cheeks, and minor skull deformities as well.
If you don't mind me asking, please keep me in mind if this snake ever falls ill, as i love collecting strange specemins like this.
BUT, here's hoping that he lives a long and happy life as well! Any animal with a missing piece just charms me so much! 3 legged cats? Heart meltingly adorable! WHY!?

Chances are the baby will be just fine. I have a female who was born with no eyes, just don't try to tell her that! This is her, but she's even bigger now.

Oh wow! I've never seen something like that before. Good luck OP! Looks like eyeless snakes can live long healthy lives!

His face is a little smaller where there should be a eye. It's like a rough black glass eye. No other issues so far. Moves fine. Is not freaked out when I hold him. No kinks. Finds
His hide just fine. Still explores. Only time will tell.
The no eye snake is kinda cool! Lol
