    has anyone used corrugated plastic?

im thinking of building a fairly large enclosure and corrugated plastic is super cheap compared with acrylic. my plans were to make a metal or wood frame and silicone it in, and put in square acrylic inserts on the bottom where UTH's would be, with a flip down or sliding front door, and CHE's and a light on top. probably not gonna do it any time soon, but ive always wondered if that stuff was any good for snakes

I used Coro as the backing to my corn snake cages and it worked out great. I mostly used it because A) it was a 4 in 1 setup and over 5' tall, so a panel of wood that large would have been tough to transport, and B) it's totally moisture proof, which is great for messy corns.

I also recently used Coro as the back and floor of my new crested gecko cage, but haven't had a chance to see it in action yet. It's all one piece, 'folded' into an L to make back and floor. Looks really nice, as I used colored coro.

That said, I wouldn't use it in connection with the heating such as on the floor of a snake cage. Plastic does melt, and this stuff probably has a lower melting point than acrylic. For flooring over heat, I use vinyl or tile.

Sure. I always have pictures of my cages, since that's how I show my work.

New gecko cage with coro back and floor:

Corn snake cage system with coro back and tile floors:

    Snake cages - wood/vinyl:

    BT Skink cage - wood/vinyl/screen:

Those are my main ones, at any rate.

do you know anywhere to buy single sheets? i would need two 96x48 1/4" sheets, all i have found are places that sell 10 packs, which would just be a waste because theres nothing else i would use it for, im just kinda looking around at prices right now, since i probably wont be able to put it into action for a while
