    Pastel lesser.

How does one tell the difference between a lesser and a pastel lesser?

I think pastel lessers are easy to differentiate when looking at the head. Although to be honest the pastel lesser pictured above just looks like a lesser to me. I guess some are harder than I thought.

I've been shopping around for a pastel lesser for quite some time.

There are some lessers that are high yellow, but it's not the norm. Also the pastel lesser often has a faded head.

    From kingsnake:

    [Python regius]
1.0 Black Butter Pinstripe (Amazeballs), 1.0 Pastel Butter Leopard (Thunderbeeper)
0.1 Spider (Charlotte), 0.1 Leopard (Spot), 0.1 Pastel (Buttercup), Fire Sugar (Abaddon), Crystal (Opalescence)

    [Python brongersmai]
    1.1 T+ Albino (Kushiel & Carmilla)

    [Boa imperator]
1.0 Hypo 100% Het Leopard/66% Het Albino (Darcy)
    0.1 66% Het Leopard/Albino (Gabby)

    [Colubrids]
0.1 Cave-dwelling Rat Snakes (Betty Spaghetti)

It also depends on the quality of the pastel lesser. Some are very easy to tell and others you just have to believe the breeder. I have seen some posted online that I do not believe are pastel lessers. Usually the head is the best indicator.
