Think it was a split clutch?

I was just admiring my new babies (all but the boobie are out), and I have a sneaking suspicion this clutch had two daddies... the normal mom was obviously with the Mojave, but could my black pastel have fathered an egg too? She did spend a few days with him, although I didn't see any locks - of course that doesn't mean it didn't happen, since I wasn't observing 24/7.

These two babies are both normals, but they couldn't look any different! One looks just like the mom, while the other looks like a normal version of my black pastel... almost to the point that I found myself thinking "is he a black pastel himself?" I thought it was kinda interesting, and was curious to hear your opinions on the matter. Doesn't really make a difference, but it's neat to see such variety in a clutch.

Do you have pics of the parents? Mom and both possible sires?

#2 could possibly be a black pastel. Wait til they shed and it will be easier to tell.
A room full of empty racks and thermostats that have been unplugged.

    Sure... here they are:

    Mom

In her "lighter phase" - she varies a bit

Mojave dad (with a baby from last year)

    And the black pastel suspect...

I don't see any black pastels...The head color and blushing isn't quite right. They look alot like my dinker though. That's why I wanted to see the parents. Here's my Dinker.

I have a hunch that the female is the culprit for the odd patterned babies. She just looks a little 'different' to me.

Yeah, I wasn't thinking he was a black pastel, but there's definitely something unique about him & mom - plus the other babies also have interesting patterns. Perhaps I should dink around with them?

He sure is interesting, any shots of the belly? I agree that it will be easier once he sheds.
