Bp's and rat size
Few years/snakes later, i'm back. I have a male bp and was wondering if he will be big enough when grown to eat 2xl and/or 3xl rats or if I should go ahead and sell them. TIA

No, that's too large for BP to consume

If you want an animal that eats with consistency you want to feed smaller meals weekly.
I have large females (3000+ grams) that could easily take 250 grams rats yet they eat rats that are no bigger than 120 grams
Males get even smaller meals around 75 grams for the largest males (that's considered small rats)
I keep the XL rats for my Blood

Yup, I too have found smaller, more frequent meals to be beneficial. Most of ours won't even look at larger rats anyways, even our 3,400g female only wants 100-120g rats, although she is physically capable of downing a far more substantial meal.
