here is a link that might help you. if you look at your pics how thick it is right after the vent and slowly tapers down. the female in the link i provided shows the dramatic taper that is missing in your pic.
i still stand at saying it is a male.

I have decided to name him Vicious, because he's so laid back and tame. Kind of like naming a snake Fluffy. Also the name worked for either gender. I felt the bump on one side but not the other. Not in the middle, just one side.

I will get out my fancy camera tonight and get my husband in on helping me get some more pics. I will try to edit some pics to show specifically where the vent is too. May also attempt to weigh him too.

Yes! I have seen this pic before and have been studying it. I was leaning towards male from this pic these past few days. Very good link. I guess another thing I could do is go get a SNOW female... then if they make babies I will have known for sure (and the babies might have neat colors). *teee hee!* And if no babies... then I have 2 happy females in a 29 gallon tank. (But babies would be so cool!!) One day....

Vicious is the perfect name for a mellow snake. I love it

    Update!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay. Does this help at all? Vicious weighs 68 grams, is 13 inches long, and from vent to tip of tail is right about at 1 full inch, no more, no less. How does this sound to you guys??

Oh and like I said in an earlier post, I was told he's about 7 months old. Does it still sound like a boy or are the people that voted girl still saying girl?

Hmmm, well it eats 1 - 2 fuzzies a week. This is my first one so I have nothing to compare it to. Is that a big feeder??? I just fed it Monday and am going to get it on a Friday schedule because it's easier for me since I'm normally not home on Saturdays and won't be tempted to play with it while it's trying to digest. Anyway, is that a lot for one to eat?
