    Ringerriffic!

I snapped this picture to put up on my site and thought you might like to see her with all the post on here about ringers lately. She's a Black Pastel Champagne with a crazy ringer! All the black pastel champs in the clutch were ringers. Just a fluke? Who knows!

Nope not a pied at all. Just a random thing that pops up sometimes. Crazy!

No its not a pied, unless his snakes were pied or hets. If neither were, and a hatchling comes out like this one its called a "ringer" an unproven trait that seems to be random in genetics.

In a regular snake with a ringer the pattern on the snake will be that of a normal appearance. If a pied then they have that busy striped and unique pattern.

    Ringer

    Piebald

See the difference? Of course in a champagne there is no pattern to look at.
But Ringers can vary in the amount of white or yellow fading they carry. These are very exceptional examples of ringers.

i know what a pied looks like but the high white and bright orange confused me. If it was a pied i would have called it champied

well i was just showing you the difference.
The high white and orange is a trait of a ringer as well. Thats why I provided you with an explanation.
Cute name for the morph if it would be a pied though
