    Loxahatchee Herp Hatchery - Recommended

Just received a shipment from Loxahatchee Herp Hatchery by recommendation from a fellow BP.net-er. I wanted to share that I am pleased with the overall transaction.

I placed the order on Friday and it shipped yesterday. Part of the delay was due to the holiday weekend and is understandable. The other part of the delay was due to the fact that I submitted my expiration date incorrectly on my card, and the processing on my order was delayed until I saw the email that they had sent to inquire about it.

The shipment arrived today, bright and early. We've been getting lots of rain and it arrived in a plastic bag. I'm thinking FedEx bagged it, but not sure.

    Insulation:

    About three inches worth...

    Block of ice..

    FOOD!
Still so frozen and cold that you can see the frost on the outside of the packaging. These are the rat pinks:

Then we have the small rats, and the medium rats.

The small rats were a bit bigger than I had anticipated, based off of the smalls that I had bought from a local breeder previously. I didn't want to buy from him again because they weren't as clean as I would have liked them to be.
I'm hoping that I can feed the smallest of the smalls off first and then she will be big enough to take the bigger small ones when the smallers ones are gone. (lol)

Everything is sealed nicely and looks very clean and fresh.

Shipping was around $20 for FedEx 1 Day. I only live a few hours from the shipper so I think that definitely saved on the shipping costs.

I use them also, their customer service is excellent, rats are nice & clean, and shipping is reasonable.
