Flexwatt Heat Tape Good for Maintaining Ambient Temp?

I do have a UTH on one end of a 30Gal glass tank. The UTH does a good job keeping the basking area around 90F. I insulated three of the four sides with foam boards. I do have clear wrap over 3/4 of my screen top. I am still having trouble getting my ambient temp up to 75F. Is the flexwatt heat tape the right medium to use if I want to get the ambient temp up? I am thinking of putting the FHT under the rest of the tank and setting the Thermostat to around 75F. Any thoughts or suggestions. Thank you in advance.

I have all the same! To keep my temps up I also put a UTH on the side of the tank between the tank and foam board. I also put foam board on the top of the screen.

If the room is cold you will need a heat tape on cool side, and or heat room up a bit with a space heater.

But the UTh can only do so much when room is cold
