    My newest addition

    Thanks to Mike Cavanaugh!

I picked up his odd 'pastel'/or is it? In person, he's even brighter yellow. Very unusual. I'll be looking forward to breeding him to a couple normals when he's bigger.

I guess I should call him a pastel-dinker? No idea what term to use, but that'll have to work for now. I have to come up with a name for him too. My pastels have names starting with "P" but since this might be something more than a pastel, I'm wondering if I should give him a different name. Maybe I should just call him 'Mike'. *grins*

    Oh yeah... gotta have pictures...

The pictures don't really show off his brilliant yellow. Hopefully this will prove out as a genetic trait, since it'd be a shame for it to just be one individual this bright. Right now, he's a hefty 152g and enjoying the quarentine rack.

I'll continue this thread with updates as he ages. Commentary is of course always welcome, and I promise, I'll try to get better pictures when I've got good light.

    Re: My newest addition

Please do keep us up to date with pictures as he grows! I HATE that I had to get rid of him but that is the crappy part part of breeding... You can't keep them all!!!!

At least I know he is in good hands....
