Thanks for the reply Jerry. I bought the sire when he was about 4 weeks old and he was the same as now, completely hairless. He has never grown any hair. The daughter looks like a regular dumbo as well as the daughters mother.

Isn't the true hairless gene recessive?

I'll just have to wait it out and see but what's weird is that I checked on my rats today (water & food) and I found another set of 1.2 in another tub. In that tub I have 1.3 breeders and the male is the hairless rat offspring but not the females. So I'm guessing I just lucked out with these rats carrying some rex/hairless genes. I will take pics of them tomorrow.
