If a mouse pink dies , it has to be gone or it will rot and kill the others. Mice routinely eat dead babies, afterbirth, and other nasty things to keep the nest clean.

I recently had one of my feeder mice turn up pregnant - she gave birth to 15 babies and is doing great with them all. They are 8 days old and starting to get their little peach fuzz on them. I'm new to all this breeding stuff - this was an accident.
