My BP hurt my feelings
I don't know if it's just bc it was the first time that it's happened to me or that I'm pregnant. But when my BP refused food the other day for the first time since I've had her and acted like she was ignoring me (though I know she's not, I don't think she has the mental capacity to do so) and won't even look at me, my feelings were hurt. Like I was complaining to my bf about it and the entire time he was looking at me like I had another head. Anyone else ever go through this or similar feelings that you know you shouldn't feel? lol, thanks.

LOL?
No sorry can't say that I've ever felt like this. Congrats on being pregnant though
And good luck on future feedings.
If it makes you feel any better by BP's want nothing to do with me. Their always trying to escape under the bed, or into the couch - like my company isn't good enough. Ingrates!!

Congratulations on the upcoming child. Your BP didn't mean to hurt your feeling Put it down to your swinging hormones.

Re: My BP hurt my feelings
Nope, she doesn't have the mental capacity to choose to ignore you. Could she ignore you? Of course she could. But not as in "I'm going to show her, I'm going to ignore her" type of way.
She's a snake. Something else caught her attention. And they're not going to eat each and every time we offer them food, especially since they get far more food with us in captivity then they do in their native habitat. They have to give their body a chance to catch up from time to time.
I'm sure that it's probably your pregnancy hormones that are making you feel all discombobulated about it. Congrats, by the way!

Congrats on your pregnancy may your child be blessed and healthy.
It would suck if bps really have feelings and can see us in that way.
