    My FIRST snake's FIRST meal!!!

My CB BP has eaten his first meal since coming under my care, and introducing me to the fascinating world of herpetology. Yesterday I saw him drinking, so now my fears are at ease, he seems healthy and happy. Had trouble getting him to eat frozen so a live fuzzy was used (looked almost too old to be a fuzzy to me). His name is Maurice Moss, and I'm only assuming his sex, with no plans to breed ATM. Let me know if anyone gets the nomenclatural reference :-)

Just so you know, he only had a modified box for a hide the first day, he now has a proper hide.

Congrats and That's a hopper mouse or so. Keep the same or use small adult mice. He will do just fine.

    Regards,

Just want to say that box hides are just fine to use as long as they are a tight fit for your ball python! They work well if you can't find hides of the right sizes at pet stores.

Congrats on your awesome new ball python.

Thanks I'll keep in mind that boxes will work if I need something in the future in a hurry. I'll continue to use hoppers. Thanks for the warm welcome

XD Nice vid. I like that it wasn't all wobbly and making me carsick, ha ha! I love that the mouse was all: "What's in here?" WHAM!

My snakes are always freaking me out when they do that XD Just as I'm ready to take the rodent out they go all crazy and slam it.

I do not get the name ref. what is it? ^^

Hahaha oh its just a TV show called the IT crowd. Its a British comedy about computer nerds in the it department at a big corporation. Hilarious. If you have Netflix, it should still be available for instant streaming.

    Thanks for the kind words!
