First superworm feeding!

I'm trying to switch all my T's off of crickets, which means mealworms for the small ones and superworms for the big ones. Today I attempted to feed my 3" Grammostola rosea but she was confused as to what to do with the superworm *sigh*

BUT I offered one to my lovely 3.75" female Grammostola pulchripes and she grabbed it very enthusiastically I love strong feeding responses!

Dubia roaches are the best from what I hear.

Congrats on the feed! My wife got excited when our A. Broc moved up in cricket size, lol. It was cool.

Thanks Nektu! And yes, B. dubia are supposed to be great, but because I live in Canada, I can't have roaches by law. As for supers/mealies vs. crickets, I'm preferring the worms over crickets because I and a big breeder locally have noticed that mealworms tend to make for really robust and fast-growing slings, and I like them more because they're easy and quiet and don't smell. Of course, if you can handle the care and smell and such from crickets, they're more than fine for T's.

Awesome, thanks for the info. I can see not wanting to have crickets in the house. They are stinky and loud. Congrats on the transition.

Congrats I think I might do roaches eventually once my Ts aren't 1" long. LOL. Crickets stink. That's probably what I dislike the most.
