I cannot move Jackson's entire enclosure, but I am going to move him until the storm passes. If I put him in his small tank with minimal stuff, what does he absolutely need to have? It is about 85 degrees in here, so I am not planning on moving the heat source. (It's attached to his big tank.) Will he be ok for one night without it? If I need to take him somewhere, what's the best way to transport him? Thanks!

If he hasn't eaten in the last two days then those temps shouldn't cause any problems.

I would keep everything in his enclosure light - so a plastic plant pot saucer and a plastic waterbowl would be fine.

It increases the chance of spillage etc but it also reduces the chance of any damage from cage furniture to almost zero.

And the best way to transport him would be in a rubermaid with extra clips to ensure it is escape proof.

You could have it set up and waiting or just use that as the temp enclosure until it passes so it is simply a case of removing hide and water bowl, picking up and going.
