I could have sworn I only said 1 Tarantula.....

so we went from like 1 tarantula ( a lil baby A. Versi) and now have 7.... this last one being a B. Arautum (Mexican Flame Knee). This is what happens when you get into a new hobby and find so many good deals ( and the darn reptile store has so many good deals and animals.... )

So here is an introduction to my new girl (hopefully) B. Emilia-

shes been really shy/ stressed I think from the move and Im doing my best to leave her alone for at least a week so she can get settled.

Also new in the household is the Mexican flame knee- which is the bf's spider. Went to the reptile store today and the guy just 'happened' to have the flame knee that he just loves....

this one had just molted so she was extra pretty

and the other new ones are a couple of b. vagans slings (like wiiiiiiked tinyyy!)

Gorgeous new additions, and these guys should come with warning labels haha, they're so darn addicting! I'm going to be at 6 tarantulas in a couple weeks. When I started out in May I had said it was going to stay at 1 or 2. And I'm going to be trying my hand at breeding in about a year too... This is madness!

Yup, they are very addicting, just like reptiles. I'm really digging that B. auratum! Gorgeous! I bought my first (G. rosea) against my wife's wishes earlier this year. Well I got her blessing for a new spider today (A. avicularia). She also found a northern walking stick tonight on the porch. He is too cool!
