    Color splotches on coastal

So I bought my girl last spring as a jaguar sibling, and the breeder asked me to take pictures of any color change. So far, she hasn't seemed to change drastically. She shed recently, and I've finally been able to get catch her while she's out of her hut (which she only does in the middle of the night, of course). Today, looking at her in daytime light, I've noticed bright yellow splotches all over her body. As far as I can tell it isn't dye from anything in her cage, and I'm hoping this means she's actually going to develop some more yellow across her body.

Is it normal for carpets to gain color this way, or is it typically more uniform?

Here's a picture of her overall, followed by one of the yellow patches. If you look close at the first picture, you can find several of the patches across her body.

That's neat. Our first Jungle just developed her color evenly.
