1st VET visit

Ok so the boys Ball went to the vet, she has not eaten is a week and I thought she was getting sick. The vet said that all looks great and she is just going into shed.
Ok so she is on Reptibark and I was thinking of changing it, but everyone uses newspaper and paper towels so I did some research and found this he states NOT to use newspaper and paaper towels. SO I asked the vet and he also stated not to so. I do not know what I should switch too now.
I forgot to say that the VET also said that I should not feed her hopper mice that smaller is better and that would help her to eat. This is a very well known VET her in Baton Rouge, we only have a couple to choose from and the other was at LSU.

A lot of folks on here are using paper of some sort. I just switched to the blue shop towels (heavy duty paper towels) and the only negative I've heard about with paper is if you use printed newspaper sometimes a snake with lighter colors will appear darker after prolonged use. Other than that there are big breeders out there that only use paper, unprinted newspaper by the roll and cut to size or pre cut sheets. that's a nice video but there are LOTS of differing opinions out there, here's a video from J.
