Is it bad if the female lays on the smaller male?

I just put my 750 male lesser with my 1600gram normal. She is laying on him. Is that normal or do I need to pull him out?

It's normal for a female that doesn't want the males advances to sit on him.
I don't allow it for more than a day but generally pull the male after 12 hours if I see this still going on.
In my experience "most" of the time when she does this there won't be any romancing going on during this visit to her lair.
I haven't had any females hurt males doing this, but my thoughts are why stress the lil guy our when there probably won't be any action going on anyways.

I bred an 800 gram male black pastel to a 2500+ gram albino and talk about covering the male up, when she sat on him there was times you couldn't see him under her, lol.

It never ceases to amaze me the difference in size between males and females.

My 1200 gram male looks really big, but when I paired him with my 3100 gram female, I had to keep doing a double take to see who that tiny little male was.

The smallest pairing I did was my 375 gram vanilla to my 1800 gram normal. She dwarfed him so much, I had to keep checking if he was in there.

    1.0 Mojave - Okoto | 1.0 Vanilla - Kodama
    1.0 Pastel - Koroku | 1.0 Fire - Osa
    0.1 het Pied - Toki | 0.1 het Pied - Mauro
    0.1 Mojave - Kina | 0.1 Blushback Cinnamon - Kuri
    0.1 Fire - Mori | 0.1 Reduced Pinstripe - Sumi
    0.1 Pastel - Yuki | 0.1 Dinker Normal - Akashi

Wow...I could see me going through the whole "is he still in there" thing this year.
Ill have a 800g male with a 2700g female this coming year.
It is crazy seeing pictures of males that are so dwarfed by the larger females.
Good luck with your snakes! Hope they get with the baby making for you!

Thanks everyone! I am very excited and hopeful. I also paired him with my other normal. I was going to rotate my Pinstripe also just to see which one takes.

I have a 350+ Cinnamon I didn't think of because he was under 500. But if I can add in him I may do that.

I really hope it is the Lesser that takes though. He is my favorite and Lessers are very good for crossing to almost any morph.
