    Just an update.

I havn't logged on in forever and just thought I would drop in and make a post of my progress with my ball pythons.

Andromeda my female is up to 1800 grams already she has been refusing meals the last 4 weeks but last night instead of feeding her a white rat i fed her a black one and that did the trick, go figure. I have been putting substrate from the male's tub into hers. She dont look like she gained weight but she put on 500 grams somewhere. I can feel very small pea sized bumps i am guessing these might be folicles but i think it maybe a bit early for that.

Freckles my big male was confirmed to be a male by a reptile veterinarian who used a sonography machine to check. He did it for free since he was so curious himself. He has been eating very well getting every rat that Andromeda has not eaten. He has entered shed for the 2nd time since I had him, it's amazing he is still growing.

I am hoping to start putting them together next month or in may.
    Thanks,
    Damien

    Thumbs up

I have a cheap 5 lbs scale. and he makes the needle disapear. I took him to the vet for a check up he tipped the scale at 3900 grams. He is getting almost too big for his tub and am considering moving him to his own 4' AP cage. He measures about 50" no one in my town has ever seen a male that big. People have offered me lots of money for him but he is such a good snake to show to people that I can't get rid of him. I have taken him to several reptile shows here in town and the reptile store i go to offered me a space at their table when i get babies. He is great with other people. Him being as old as he is the vet says he is in great shape thanks to Hillary Webb, I got an exellent specimen and a great pet.
    Thanks,
    Damien
