Okay, i dont want reprimandeed because it hink i know what caused the issue but i want help being sure i am on the right track.

we are in a room that is 85* right now so i took the heat off of everyone (boas and balls) the balls have thrived and are super active and are loving the tempature.

However 8 weeks ago my 1 year old red tail regurgitated his two mice. didnt eat for four weeks and then ate a single mouse. since then he will only eat a single small mouse. he held down three meals and started to grow again but yesterday after eating on sunday regurgitated the mouse again. it still looked kinda like a mouse tail intact and all.

I put him back on the heating pad and he is back up to bout 90*

How long should i wait before i attempt to refeed? then how long before i decide to go to a vet?

I decided if he regurgitates once more we need to be going to the vet stat. But im asking for helop, becasue i guess I am doing somethikng wrong and I dont want apollo to be sick or even die (its my husbands boa)

First off, the room at 85 is a little on the hot side, but not too bad (keeping it closer to 80 is MUCH better though). You do need to offer the heat pad on half the cage though, to give him a warm area of around 90. At all times.

If he regurged, give him about 2 weeks to recover his digestive flora, and then try feeding again. If he regurges again and you had the temperatures and everything right, then I agree with you, it will be best if you bring him to a vet.

Hey, you can't help it being hot! It's the same here in Florida, I can't keep my home temps down low enough! The monitors couldn't care less, but I know the snakes are starting to think "Hey... you know, we could stand with a LITTLE less warm!"

Temps are within tolerable, I'm more uncomfortable than the reptiles are for sure, but still. It's just bloody hot. Use fans. Lots of fans.

Regurging can be a serious issue so if after a good rest, your boa keeps doing it, a vet would be a good idea.
