    sales rats and mice

I'm just kind of curious, I know every area is different but is there anyone out there that seems to have better luck selling one over the other? Anyone that makes better money from one or the other (I know there's not much money in it anyways but yoy get my drift). Thanks in advanced.

    Re: sales rats and mice

In my area it would be the mice. Once snakes get to needing rats they always seem to end up on CL. In an average week I usually see 10-15 BPs and red tails, it's sad

Without telling what sell for, in my area, I sell twice as many live mice to live rats(retail). But, wholesale, I sell three times as many frozen rats to mice. It's all in what you sell, and who you have for clients.

I usually bulk up to about 70 frozen mice, and then someone will buy the whole lot. I usually sell the whole thing for around $60.

Pinkies are seperate and go for much less, but this also has to do with me not needing to make money on them really.

I sell live ASFs for pets and breeders, and typically get $10 per female and $5 per male
