Actually never took that good look on front of the face.. will check it today
They are colubrids... but they are very interesting snakes to keep... They behave a little like pythons when they eat (they constrict by full coiling) and they are easy to keep and breed.
There are few species in pet trade in US
Most popular are Brown House Snake, Spotted House Snake, Striped House Snake and Cape House Snake.
Cape House snake is very interesting because that specie have biggest choice of morphs.
Besides regular wild form you have patternless, striped , albino, amelanistic , hypo piebald and pastel.
I believe that pair of cape house snakes het for albino or het for amel will be my next choice
