To throw another one on or not to throw another one on?

Long story short, I was looking at what the Thrixopelma ockerti is going to cost me and I'd be able to afford to throw another T in... two that really caught my eye (though I'd only be able to choose one) are a 3/4" Phormictopus auratus and a 1" Ephebopus uatuman.

So the question is: should I throw one of the two on - and if so, which one?

It may help to mention that my mother may have a small canniption if I get 2 instead of one but I may be able to sway her lol.

I don't know much about the Phormictopus auratus so I had to google it. It did not really spark my interest personally. But if you like it that's all that really matters here

The uatuman doesn't appeal to me either. I like the E. murinus a lot though but they are mean/defensive like the blue fang and hide just as much.

But if I had to choose between the two I would probably pick the Phormictopus auratus personally.

This is off topic but my Lasiodora parahybana is fast becoming one of my TOP favorites in my collection. She is super chill, big and stocky and 99% of the time out in the open. She does not try to bite but does kick hairs. BUT she only kicks hairs if directly touched. She does not kick when I open the tank or if startled or anything like that which is good. And I only know she likes to kick hairs from being touched because she did when I got her and had to rehouse her. Ever since that though she hasn't kicked a single time. I know some people have a parahybana that are pretty defensive and try to bite anything (like my geniculata - lol) but I got lucky I guess and got a sweet one.

Thanks, Jeff! I've been kinda looking at the L. parahybanas too after seeing pics and such of yours, but the only ones available to me are teeny tiny right now, and at the moment I don't really feel safe keeping anything that small because small containers are easy for my cats to throw around should they somehow manage to get into my room. So I'll wait on an LP for now great to hear yours is being nice to you though!

that's my problem - I love the P auratus because I like the more understated colors, but I love the colors of the emerald skeleton E uatuman, but still not sure if I want an angry pet hole most of the time or not :S thanks for the input though! I might be leaning more toward the auratus because they aren't as common, but aghh! There are too many to choose from lmao!
