    Black Pastel Mojave Questions

I have a clutch hatching right now that is from a mojave boy (who seems to have a hidden gene that makes for crazy patterened/colored mojaves that look like Jeff Luman's mojave daddy) and a black pastel girl. Looking in it, there is what I immediately knew were two mojave black pastels and what I thought were two mojaves, but now that I have seen their heads and their pattern I am not so sure. The ones I thought were mojaves are have really light silver blushing and their head colors are not like any mojaves I have ever hatched out and the two black pastel mojaves are a lot more lighter than the only black pastel mojo I could find pictures of. So, has anyone around here produced black pastel mojaves and do you have pictures, preferably of them as hatchlings?

I think I may have two black pastel mojaves that just dont have a great pattern, and two hidden gene black pastel mojaves, but I would really like to see some pictures if anyone else has produced them.

    Thanks!

    Re: Black Pastel Mojave Questions

    Okay, you've convinced me.

Definite Black Pastel Mojave (at least)

    Another Black Pastel Mojave

Mojave sibling with really light head/neck

There is another Mojave in the clutch, as well as a Black Pastel and Normal, but they weren't interested in being photographed.

    Dad

    Mom

'10 Mojave girl from same male (Her head and neck were black when she hatched)

'09 Mojave, again from the same dad

I will post better pics of the babies as they arrive.

    Re: Black Pastel Mojave Questions

    Thanks!
They are all out a little more today and I was able to get a better look at the Mojaves. One looks pretty much just like an awesome light mojave, but the other (the one I didn't get a picture of yet) looks halfway between a Mojave and a Black Pastel Mojave. I will try to get a pic of him today.
